5 Things Eye Learned in Art School
Today marks the end of my first year in LCAD, its been a good run. Learned a lot of stuff and here’s 5 to share.

Why I call these calligraphy:
These characters are stylized representations of the first language any baby learns, the language of facial expressions. Any hint of a face triggers an attempt to ‘read’ a picture’s emotional message. And just like in real calligraphy, the stylization of the writing attempts to throw you back into appreciating the aesthetics instead of the mere contents of it.
So I’m trying to set up a ping pong game in your brain between the facial recognition and the beauty appreciation engines. Sorry if it hurts. :)
